Use difficulties the program is not very easy to use and it doesn't hide every program

GOOD PROGRAM Pretty good program to edit/delete startup processes without having to go through the windows registry

windows reformatted data lost did test of all 4 types of encryption or file format and still found no files at all. still lost all my data and moved on from beeing utterly lost and damaged ....!#$@%

Smart program! Easy to use, simple and works like expected. If folders are needed to be hid other than the "obvious" windows way, then this is the program to be used. Also, the program can be used in the "stealth" mode which is really cool and serves the purpose of "hiding"

Does what it was made for

I have used this program, Scotts start up manager,successfully on my desk top running xp but when I downloaded it for my laptop running Vista the program was prevented from deleting selected programs from the start up list.The program appeared to be selecting the chosen program but after running the delete the chosen program was still in the list.Any suggestions?JD Smith

The program worked I'm glad to be able to get the custom programs to appear at startup. Makes things such as my registration reminder and e-mail notifier actually work the way they're supposed to. Very good.

Beware - doesn`t list all startup entries. The only issue I have with this program is that it does not list all the things that start up, such as AOL Instant Messenger, virtually all Adobe apps including Acrobat Assistant, iTunes, Google and Java updaters, Punkbuster, and many spyware and adware entries. It is quite good at listing entries that you need to keep, but when it comes to things you don't want but that are loading at startup anyway you may find yourself manually quitting them each time you boot up your computer. Does the job. Just what you need, a simple list of programs that start up with Windows (that don't give you a choice during installation or have the ability to be switched off - developers need to get with the program) that you can CHOOSE to disable to ensure your PC does not take 3 lifetimes to boot up!

Crashed on use Everytime I ran the program it would say error, division by zero error. This is probably related to other problems but it is all I can use to judge the program. It was for windows 2k server edition.

It just didn`t work for me at all. After installation, a tray applet appeared, allowing me to change options, etc, but there's no grid (yes, I did try to turn it on and off in the options), and windows dragging behaviour didn't change. It didn't provide any error messages, so it's hard to tell why it didn't work for me.
